Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics trainer who would become Comaneci's coach later in life, discovered her at age six. First competing in the national junior championships in Romania in 1969, she was 13th. Then in the year 1970, she the Romanian gymnast won. In her first international competition in 1972, a pre-Olympic junior event for countries of the communist bloc she won three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974 she became an all-around junior champion. In her first senior competition in the year 1975, she defeated Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champion, winning four golds and a silver. She won the American Cup at the New York City Olympics. She also became the first woman to ever dismount parallel bars using backwards double salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager she was performing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater together with her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career in her teens. Early on she was a figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating performance.
